october 2007

A copious Halloween candy selection? Check. A highly-detailed carved pumpkin? Check. Costume? Hmmm. Grab that old prom dress in your closet and a tiara and this year’s Princess Costume is set! Halloween is right around the corner and so is The Princess Project! Keep the treats around a bit longer this year and help send high school girls to prom.

We’re gearing up for the 2008 Dress Giveaways and starting to gather fairy dust, polish off those tiaras, and organize fabulous and fun events to give away prom dresses and accessories to high school girls throughout the Bay Area at three exciting locations: San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and the East Bay!.

In its seventh year, The Princess Project promotes self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who cannot otherwise afford them.

Beyond the Dress: Volunteer

The Dress Giveaways can’t run on taffeta alone…it takes the dedication of some incredible volunteers to help plan, prepare, and prep each year. So, if you’re ready to to help make a difference this year, come join The Princess Project!

The Princess Project: San Francisco

If you want to get more involved in The Princess Project during 2008, we have a place for you on one of our Steering Committees.

There are over 8 Committees to join, so there’s a little something for everyone, including Accessories/Makeup, Boutiques, Site Management, Event Staging, Fundraising Event, Public Dress Collection, Corporate Dress Collection and more! If interested, please email SF Event Chair, Gina Sponzilli at gsponz@yahoo.com.

The Princess Project: Beyond the 415
